Head of committee: Dr.-Ing. Karl-Heinz Czychon
Mail to committee:
Through its members, the Expert Committee on Energy Resources and Power Generation gathers industrial, governmental and academic expertise in the fields of extraction and use of fossil resources as well as the resulting economic and ecological evaluations. The expert committee is the link between the suppliers of fossil resources (especially coal and gas) and conventional power plants for the safe and economical supply of power and heat for the industry, businesses as well as private households. Another topic is the impact of the German turnaround in energy policy on a stable power supply. The interdisciplinary connection of the existing know-how of the different players and knowledge carriers is, therefore, of the utmost importance for the work of the expert committee.
The expert committee will establish contact among its members of different fields of expertise and qualifications as well as among partners in the industry, government and scientific institutions.
Committee meetings take place on a yearly basis and mostly in the context of expert conferences.
The date of the next meeting will be announced soon.
